Quarmby Garage is fully equipped with the latest computer technology to perform a MOT test in line with current legislation. The current vehicle classes tested at Quarmby Garage and the fees are listed below.

Classes 1 and 2 (class 1 engine size up to 200 cc)

Duplicate certificates
The maximum fee for a duplicate test certificate is £10.00 or half full test fee if less.
Retests (Re-Exmainations)
If the vehicle stays at the test station which failed the vehicle in order to be repaired no additional MOT Test fee is incurred for the first partial re-examination. If the vehicle is bought back to the same test station and retested before the end of the next working day, no additional test fee is incurred for the first re-examination. Re-examinations without fees are available for one or more of the following items:
ABS Warning | Mirrors Rear Reflectors Registration Plates Seat Belts (but not anchorages) Seats Sharp Edges or Projections Steering Wheel Tailboard Tailgate VIN Windscreen and Widescreen Wipers/Washers Wheels and Tyres (but not classes I and II) |
If the vehicle fails the test on any other items then a full re-test is required and a full fee is required. For appeal re-tests the full fee is also required.
